I have knit hats this week. My youngest grandson likes Angry Birds and a friend had suggested that I should make Angry Bird Hats. I decided to rummage through my stash of yarn and see what I could find for colors. I found a pattern on the internet that would be workable, I wanted ear flaps and the pattern did not have them so I added them and altered the number of stitches in the pattern to accommodate the type of yarn and size of hats I needed. They were fun to knit and I finished two hats in three days. My eldest grandson wanted a snowflake hat, with earflaps, in brown and white. Luckily I didn’t even have to leave the house as I had just what he wanted in my stash!
